Resume Frequently Asked Questions
1) I have not recieved my resume yet
Your resumes are sent immediately and directly to the e-mail address entered in your Personal Details section. Occasionally some e-mails are rejected because your inbox is too full, or the address is mis-typed. Please double check your e-mail address.
Please ensure that the e-mail account you use is able to accept attachments and will not bounce e-mails back because your inbox is full. This applies particularly to AOL and Hotmail users.
With AOL, you have the option to choose who you accept e-mails from. Selecting this option will mean that your resume will be send back to us, undelivered.
If you are using spam blocking software, please ensure that your resume has not been rejected by the filters in place.
If you still experience problems, contact us by e-mail our helpful person and we will track down the problem. Remember to include your username, but not your password in all e-mails.
2) Can I copy and paste my resume?
Yes! Simply select 'add new entry' and copy and paste your existing information into the text boxes.
3) Help! All these boxes are rather daunting
Remember, you can come back to the site as many times as you like and gradually build up your resume. You only pay once.
4) What if I don't have Word installed?
Its no problem if you don't have Word, you can always click here to download Microsoft Word viewer, so you can see exactly what you have created.
5) The attachment is greyed out/I am unable to open the attachment
This problem is usually caused by an Outlook security patch which disabled attachments completely. To disable this setting please click 'Tools' followed by 'Options' and navigate to the 'Security' tab. Make sure the box 'Do Not Allow Attachments to be Opened that Could
Potentially Be a Virus' is not checked.
